Moving Forward with Clarity and Faith

Running for office is not for the faint of heart. It means stepping into the lion’s den by enduring a demanding schedule and opening yourself up to endless scrutiny, including attacks that come so easily online. It tests both character and confidence.

What I did not anticipate was how personal the journey would become. Campaigning has a way of revealing not only your own strengths and limits, but also the realities within your own life.

During this process, information came to light regarding my husband’s business affairs—things that had not been fully disclosed to me. That discovery led me to make the difficult decision to file for separation on April 14, 2026.

This has been, and continues to be, painful. Yet even in the midst of it, I have found a quiet sense of peace.

That peace is due in no small part to you—your prayers, your encouragement, and your support. I am deeply grateful.

Most of all, this experience has opened my heart in a new way. It has drawn me closer to God, and through your prayers, I have felt His peace.
